Brooklyn College

OVERVIEW

With nineteen buildings spread over 26 acres, Brooklyn College found itself in need of a modern, efficient, campus-wide facility management system. TEC provided a streamlined solution, integrating and synchronizing facility management, telecommunications equipment, and data processing operations over a single fiber-optic network. Intelligent building capabilities, including GUI workstations tracking environmental conditions and 11 American Auto-Matrix SAGEMAX™ area controllers, allow each facility unique operation and levels of control. TEC complements these state-of-the-art features with unparalleled service, including periodic system audits, troubleshooting, and staff training in new technologies. Combined with the institute’s curriculum, these new facilities ensure Brooklyn College’s place as a standard-bearer well into the 21st century — all made possible by TEC.
