Bernie’s experience in engineering and project management helps him foresee all of TEC’s purchasing needs. A degree in mathematics, as well as prior work as a project engineer for a major toy company, prepared him for the rigors of TEC. originally hired in 2001 as a project manager, Bernie has now moved into purchasing and logistics and is wholly responsible for material procurement, inventory control, and supervising of fabrication of the many control panels we supply in-house and send out. Bernie has established strong connections with our project managers so he can better understand their projects timeline and scheduling requirements. He takes initiative over our procurement process and project checklist to better coordinate deliveries and pick-ups throughout the different jobsites we deal with in the city. Aside from our project managers, Bernie takes it of the utmost importance to closely enable communication with our logistics members so that they too can adhere to comprehensive and fluid daily schedules.
