On Friday, December 5, TEC proudly attended the Stacks+Joules x Henry Street Settlement Talent Showcase, celebrating the graduation of Cohort 11 from the Building Automation Training Program.
Events like this are especially meaningful to us because they reflect so much of who we are as a company. TEC has long believed that investing in education, training, and early-career development strengthens not only the industry, but our own community. Many graduates from previous S+J cohorts have joined TEC and become integral members of our team — contributing fresh perspective, curiosity, and technical agility.
The showcase offered a firsthand look at the type of emerging talent we’re committed to supporting. Graduates presented and demonstrated skills in:
-
-
-
-
-
Python-based lighting design
-
Leak detector wiring
-
Niagara software and Niagara-powered control panels
-
Air conditioning and heat pump trainer units
-
Distech controls
-

Seeing their work up close reaffirmed just how important it is to nurture the next generation of building automation professionals. This partnership aligns directly with our core value of innovation & learning, and we are proud to show up, be present, and encourage those beginning their careers in the BAS space.
TEC was honored to meet the graduates, celebrate their accomplishments, and reinforce our ongoing commitment to creating opportunities, providing mentorship, and supporting pathways into this industry.
Congratulations to the S+J Cohort 11 — we look forward to what’s ahead!
