Christopher O. McHugh has been honored by the New York City Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) with its Distinguished Service Award. The award was presented to him at the the group’s 43rd Annual Gala, attended by many of his peers in the industry.
McHugh is Partner in Charge of Commercial Base Building services at AKF engineering, a role which encompasses MEP design for central utilities, core and shell work, and tenant fit-outs. With over 30 years experience McHugh has not only contributed to the design of hundreds of facilities across the metropolitan area, he has also been a key supporter and contributor to numerous professional organizations and committees, aiding in the direction and development of the MEP industry.
