George Kostakis has been a valued Project Manager at TEC Systems since April 2021, where he has successfully managed a variety of projects, including residential builds, commercial office fit-outs, hospital installations, and mechanical retrofits and upgrades. Prior to joining TEC, he gained extensive experience working for a large-scale general contractor, contributing to billion-dollar projects in the healthcare and education sectors as both an engineer and superintendent. With nearly a decade of experience in the construction industry, George holds a degree in mechanical engineering and possesses all necessary SST and OSHA training certifications. His expertise and leadership continue to drive successful project outcomes at TEC Systems.

What activities or hobbies do you have that influence your work at TEC?

In addition to my primary role, I serve as the Assistant Freestyle Coordinator and a USASA-certified Freestyle Official for freestyle ski and snowboard competitions with the US Collegiate Ski/Snowboard Association (USCSA). My journey in this field began in college, where I was a racer and competitor, eventually becoming the captain of our team and getting involved with the league. Now, as one of the main events coordinators, I have gained valuable experience that often translates into project planning in the construction industry. Skiing and snowboarding are not only enjoyable hobbies but also provide significant networking opportunities. Many individuals in our industry are passionate skiers, and a number of them are currently or have previously been involved in construction.
