In the last ten years New York City has seen a large increase in the construction of ever taller, high-end, mixed use towers. One of the most recent projects to grace the New York City skyline is the tower at 30 Park Place, a 68-story Four Season Hotel and luxury condominium.
To enhance the hotel guest experience TEC Systems Inc. helped design and install Lutron’s myRoom™, hospitality guestroom system for lighting, temperature, and shade control.
myRoom is designed to benefit property managers and guests alike. It’s a seamless system for controlling light, temperature and shades all from one touch panel. It automatically reduces both lighting and HVAC energy use in response to room vacancy or occupancy conditions while its integrated shade controls further increase HVAC savings by minimizing solar heat gain. The elegant design and tactile button feedback are easy for guests to understand and use. The ability to integrate with a building’s BMS gives property managers access to individual room information that helps run the building efficiently and effectively.
