Gotham NYC Health Care Facility
OVERVIEW
With 3.5 million sq. ft. spread over 22 stories, the newly developed NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene found itself in need of an efficient and modern building management system. Following Long Island City’s recent growth, the building now stands as the biggest headquarters move in NYC history. TEC Systems was called on to compliment the state-of-the-art facility with a modern facility management system standardized with Honeywell. With this system, Gotham received LEED certification and was recognized by the US Green Building Council for its core and shell as well as sophisticated interior. With a PC workstation to accompany fire alarms, ac-units, and various HVAC controls, Gotham is primed to take care of New York.
